Last night's ER
I actually remembered to watch!!! YAY ME! Seriously, that's a big accomplishment for me right now. *pats back*



I think I might actually like ER. Last night's episode was good, but first I have to address something--

"The Wiggles"? Luka knows about the Wiggles. Luka watches the Wiggles. OMG, maybe some viewers thought that was a cute little insight into Luka's mind but... I've been watching Law & Order: Special Victims Unit reruns on USA obsessively this past week, and just the other day they were playing the episode "Chat Room" in which the Detectives are on the trail of internet pedophiles. During the interrogation of one the pedophiles, who goes by the SN 'the Yachtsman', he talks about meeting other men 'with the same affliction' as himself.

Benson: "How did you meet the others?"
Yachtsman: "There are certain things you say that a child-lover understands that no one else would notice."
Stabler: "Such as?"

Yachtsman goes on to say that pervs will bond over G-rated movies, which they watch to get to know kids better.

Yachtsman: "Rapport is crucial."
Benson: "You're talking Pocahontas, but really what you're saying is, 'Are you a pedophile too?'"

Hearing Luka say he watches "The Wiggles" to have something to talk about with the kids... I just couldn't stop my mind from going there.

So Sam? He may not fart in the kitchen but he will CORRUPT YOUR CHILD!

Heh, there should be an entirely inappropriate ER/SVU crossover were Luka is mistaken for a pedophile.

The realization that there was no crazy Daddy wasn't a shock, since I could see that coming. But I gotta give props to the actress who played the mother. She was terrific, creepily so.

Alex leaving even made me tear up. Although I do think she deserved a better send-off.

And, yes. I did just compare Luka to a pedophile. Which is in no way a funny subject. But OMFG, LUKA IS EVIL!
